Parking & Transportation
We highly encourage event attendees to take public transportation, ride their bikes or walk to get to campus during the events.
To enter the CU-Boulder campus via Regent Drive you must have either a pre-paid Dalai Lama parking permit or a valid CU Parking Permit.
Pre-paid CU-Boulder Dalai Lama parking permits will be honored in lots along Regent Drive. A traffic attendant will direct guests to their parking areas.
To avoid heavy traffic impacts and for cross-campus meetings or lunches, Parking and Transportation Services encourages utilizing alternative methods of transportation (riding the bus, carpooling, walking or biking to campus) on the day of the event.
For information on alternative transportation options please visit the Parking and Transportation Services website commuting section and check the RTD bus Trip Planner and schedules.
Event guests coming to campus should bus, bike, walk, hire a cab or arrange to be dropped off.
CU-Boulder parking permit holders, please see the parking and traffic impacts community note in CU-Boulder Today.
