CU Engage is the Center for Community-Based Learning and Research at the University of Colorado Boulder. CU Engage collaborates with communities, schools, and organizations to address complex public challenges. We have several programs for high school and undergraduate students. In this Virtual Open House, we will describe programs such as the Leadership and Community Engagement Major (LCE) and the Leadership Studies Minor (LSM), Public Achievement (PA) (an undergraduate course and program that places k-12 students and community in the center of public life, where they address social issues that they identify are important to them), Aquetza Summer program (a free, residential summer program that provides high school students with strong ties to Chicano/Latino communities from across Colorado with an interactive, academic enrichment experience focused on engaging Chican@/Latin@ youth) and INVST Community Studies (a two-year program for CU students focused on eco-social justice and community leadership. Attendees will learn how to get involved or enrolled in LCE, LSM, INVST, and PA, this year and have time to ask questions to some of the programs' staff, faculty, and students.

Join us on March 2nd at 12-12:40 pm to learn more!

Current undergraduate students and current high school students who are interested in taking a course or joining a program at CU Engage, and those who work with these students, are invited to register.
