Puksta scholars presentation

This degree prepares students for careers in community or non-profit organizations, higher education, international development, urban planning, social work, government, and more. It is the only program of its kind in Colorado and part of a small number of emerging community engagement degrees nationwide. Students will develop a deep conceptual understanding of theories of leadership, public policy, and social change. Students are required to complete a second degree in a related field, such as sociology, ethnic studies, or Spanish, and they will work in community settings culminating in a two-semester capstone project that addresses a leadership challenge.
