KGNU DACA AMPLIFYWelcome to AMPLIFY, a new radio show and podcast about University-Community Collaborations. In the Oct. 25, 2017 show we’ll be talking about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA, and efforts both locally and nationally to Protect Dreamers and advance permanent legislative solutions for the national DACA program.

Jennifer Ciplet, Director of Communications for CU Engage, is the host of AMPLIFY.

The guests on today's show are CU Boulder DACA students Gaby and Edwin, both of whom immigrated to the United States as young children and grew up in Colorado. We’ll also be joined by Deborah Mendez-Wilson of the University of Colorado Boulder’s Strategic Media Relations, and we’ll hear from Deya Aldana, who is an Organizing Fellow with the national immigrant rights organization United We Dream.

AMPLIFY is a production of CU Engage, the Center for Community-Based Learning and Research at CU Boulder, in partnership with community radio KGNU. The show aims to amplify the voices of students and community partners who are working together to generate new knowledge and address wicked public challenges.
