Anxiety Toolbox
Are you feeling anxious about classes, making new friends or life in general? This two-part workshop provides practical, life-long tools to help you manage and reduce feelings of anxiety. The two sessions are divided into content independent of each other, so that you can start at any time. The sessions include modules dedicated to understanding anxiety, learning deep breathing and grounding skills, introducing a method for slowing down and disentangling anxious thoughts, and developing alternative responses to anxiety.

Feel Better Fast
Do you want to learn new coping skills to manage overwhelming emotions or feeling out of control? This three-part workshop provides practical skills to help you get back on track and feel better fast.

Acudetox (group acupuncture)
Do you want to experience the health benefits of acupuncture? Join us for a group acudetox acupuncture session that can help reduce anxiety and promote well-being. Acudetox is a specific type of acupuncture, called auricular acupuncture, involving a five-point application of needles or ear seeds in the ear. These specific sites target various points throughout the body, leading to symptom reduction in anxiety, depression, and substance use cravings, as well as can improve sleep, relaxation, and concentration.

Feel Good Friday
Take a break from your busy schedule. This hybrid meditation workshop will feature a piece of art on display at the CU Art Museum that relates to mindfulness. Sessions are open to all students, staff, faculty and the public. Meditations are open to students, faculty, and staff, and everyone is welcome to attend any week they choose. Participants are encouraged to bring materials for personal comfort that will aid meditation (e.g. yoga mat, a small pillow or cushion, etc.).
