Rachel LaHoda

Licensed Psychologist, Psychology Practicum Coordinator

Rachel completed her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. She has worked in a variety of different settings including university counseling centers, a behavioral health outpatient center, private practice, forensic settings, and a residential safe-house supporting survivors of domestic violence. Rachel enjoys providing individual and group therapy services to young adults and university students as well as working with couples and exploring relational growth. She also enjoys supporting the training of up-and-coming psychologists.

Rachel approaches treatment from an integrated approach, and draws from relational, feminist, and contemporary psychodynamic theories. She values collaborating with students to develop an understanding of each client’s journey while using the therapeutic relationship as a mechanism for movement and change. Rachel aims to provide warmth, genuineness, empathy, and respect for each student’s unique experience to create a safe space for growth and exploration.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys playing organized sports, game nights, and spending time with friends and family.
