Marja (pronounced Mar-ya) is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of experience working in community mental health and integrated care. She values a multi-disciplinary approach to care as well as a lens that honors the whole person within their social, familial and cultural context. Marja believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship as the crux of healing and collaboration, as well as a flexible and holistic clinical approach. She is on the Behavioral Health Team at Wardenburg providing brief interventions, screening, assessment, collaboration and consultation with students alongside the medical team. She also sees students for therapy through CAPS and utilizes SFBT, ACT, EFT grounded in a commitment to a relational and social justice framework.
When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and traveling.
