Jordan is a licensed clinical social worker with a wide range of clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, and crisis settings. Before coming to CAPS, Jordan worked as a crisis evaluator at AllHealth Network's 24/7 crisis walk-in center, where she assessed clients for acute crises, including suicidality, homicidality, psychosis, and substance use disorders, both in-person and via the 24/7 crisis hotline. Prior to this, Jordan worked as an outpatient therapist at AllHealth Network for several years. Jordan has also worked as a therapist at CU Anschutz, as a case manager at Colorado School of Mines, and was formerly a 7th grade English/ Language Arts teacher at Denver Public Schools before transitioning into social work.

In her current role, Jordan is passionate about supporting students in crisis and helping them achieve their personal vision of emotional and relational wellbeing. Jordan specializes in helping students understand and cope with anxiety and depression symptoms, build self-esteem and self-awareness, and improve their relationships with themselves and others. Jordan is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Jordan also has extensive clinical experience treating chronic suicidality and substance use concerns and is in the process of obtaining her LAC.

Jordan's therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, warmth, and curiosity. A core aspect of her style is relational and attachment-focused therapy— using the therapeutic relationship to uncover patterns and dynamics that shape how students engage with themselves and others. Jordan also enjoys helping students learn to regulate their nervous system through somatic and mindfulness-based interventions.

When she is not working, Jordan enjoys reading, seeing movies, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
