Trinity (she/her/hers) joins the College of Media, Communication, and Information as an Embedded Therapist for Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS). She recently completed her postdoctoral fellowship in crisis/triage care at CU Boulder which is the third university system that she has worked in. Trinity enjoys providing individual and group therapy, supervising trainees, and connecting with other university departments outside CAPS. Her integrative approach to therapy is informed by person-centered and feminist theories, which emphasize empowerment, self-exploration and understanding, and the role that identity, personal history, and systemic contexts play in a person’s unique experiences.
