Sarah Bannon
PMHNP-BC • LCSW

Sara is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Sara earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Wisconsin Madison and her Master of Social Work from the University of Utah.

Prior to joining CAPS in March 2020, Sara previously worked and previously worked at student mental health and psychiatry services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Sara also has experience working as a nurse and social with individuals across the lifespan in outpatient, inpatient, and integrated health care settings. Sara is passionate about supporting students through such a pivotal time of life and working with students to create a holistic and individualized plan of care.
