Nikki Kennedy
LPC • Crisis Triage Therapist

Nikki Kennedy is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and has been treating clients all over the front range of Colorado since 2006. Nikki started a private practice where she treated clients of all ages and stages focusing on marginalized populations, LGBTQ+ adolescents, women's issues and relationships. In addition to private therapy work, Nikki was a Lecturer for CU Denver and created a consulting wing of her business focused on helping nonprofit organizations become trauma-informed and reduce secondary trauma and burnout in front line staff.

Nikki is passionate about the pursuit of mental health equity and population mental health. She is actively engaged in anti-racism and decolonization work within herself and communities and promoting excellent mental health care for all.

Outside of work

She loves to be outside, play with her family, travel, drink coffee, and spend time with her friends. One thing she would like to do is travel throughout Italy on a food, walking, and wine adventure.

Areas of interest

Nikki uses a variety of therapy modalities focused on the client’s goals for health and healing. These modalities include trauma-informed, generational trauma, multiculturalism, EMDR, yoga for trauma and somatic expression.
