Lisa Boyle
LCSW • Post-Master's Social Work Fellowship Coordinator

Lisa is from Washington, D.C. and received a Master of Social Work degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.  Lisa has lived and worked in a variety of places and settings. She has lived in San Francisco where she worked at an inpatient treatment program. She has also lived in Miami, Florida where she worked at a community mental health center in Miami Beach.  Lisa really found her passion when she began her work as a counselor and case manager at the University of Miami. She really enjoys helping students navigate all the numerous transitions and challenges that they often face while in college.  Lisa moved to Boulder in 2006 and has worked at CAPS since fall, 2007. Lisa attended the International OCD Foundation Behavior Therapy Training Institute in January, 2013 for cognitive behavioral treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Lisa enjoys doing individual and group therapy as well as doing outreach to the CU Boulder campus.

Areas of interest

Anxiety, obsessions, compulsions, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), hair pulling, first year/adjustment issues, depression, stress management, suicide prevention, relationship issues, self-esteem, skin picking and body dysmorphia, substance abuse and school/life balance.
