Katy Barnes

Before coming to CAPS, Katy provided mental health counseling in a substance abuse withdrawal management and treatment setting at Denver Health Hospital.

She began her mental health career providing individual and group counseling to child and adult survivors of intimate partner violence at DVRC in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In her current role, Katy is passionate about supporting students in crisis and removing barriers to accessing mental health care.

When not at work, Katy loves dogs, backpacking and games!
