Janira Gonzalez-Cunningham

Janira completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Ponce School of Medicine. Her experience prior to joining CU Boulder CAPS includes providing integrated behavioral health care in a variety of medical settings including school-based health, primary care, women’s health and geriatric clinics. She is a former clinical instructor at CU School of Medicine and believes that collaboration is an essential piece when delivering care. Janira aims to provide a warm, collaborative and affirming space for all students.   

When not at work, Janira enjoys cooking, spending time with family/friends, seeing live music and hiking.
