Dr. Janira Gonzalez-Cunningham completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Ponce School of Medicine.  Her experience includes providing integrated behavioral health care with culturally diverse populations in a variety of medical settings that includes school-based health centers, primary care, women’s health, and geriatric clinics. She is a former

clinical instructor at CU School of Medicine and believes that collaboration is an essential piece when delivering care.  Helping clients recognize strengths and new coping skills, discussing the mind/body connection, setting behavior change goals, and connecting with community resources are some of the areas with which she can assist. Some hobbies when outside of the office are cooking, spending time with family/friends, seeing live music, and exploring the beauty of Colorado.
