Jamie Scott
Jamie joined CAPS last year as a psychology doctoral intern and is continuing in her new role as a postdoctoral fellow. Jamie recently graduated with her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University. Jamie has worked in many college counseling centers throughout her training and thoroughly enjoys working with college students. Jamie has a passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community and sits on the TransCare team at CU Boulder. Jamie has lived experience as a queer individual and has experience working with queer and trans populations.

Jamie uses a person-centered and interpersonal approach to therapy alongside a multicultural, strengths-based, and values-based lens. Jamie aims to show up as her authentic self in the room and provide a warm, collaborative, affirming space that is tailored to each client's individual needs. She is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all intersecting identities, experiences, and backgrounds. Jamie hopes to aid clients in building insight, compassion, and understanding for their current situations.

In her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, painting, going to concerts, or getting cozy with a good book.
