Gisele Schemankewitz
- MS
- Doctoral Psychology Intern

Gisele is currently completing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Maryland. She has extensive experience working with adults in both individual and group settings, including her work at a community mental health center, private practice, college counseling center, and a comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) practice. Gisele takes an integrative, collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic theory, DBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She believes the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful tool for insight and growth, and she aims to create a warm, affirming space where clients feel safe to explore and evolve. Gisele shows up authentically in the room and encourages clients to do the same. She supports individuals in developing greater self-understanding, building self-acceptance, and making meaningful, values-driven changes. Her approach is grounded in the belief that everyone holds the potential for growth and transformation.
