Cori recently joined CAPS as a staff psychologist in the summer of 2019. She received her doctorate in Chicago, IL from Adler University, and completed her doctoral internship at Louisiana State University Mental Health Service in Baton Rouge, LA. Prior to joining CU, Cori gained experience across forensic hospital, outpatient community mental health, and university counseling center settings. Although a generalist, Cori has a strong passion for providing individual and group therapy services to university students and young adults. She also enjoys actively supporting the training of up-and-coming psychologists.
Cori takes an integrative approach to her work with students, drawing upon mindfulness-based, contemporary psychodynamic, and relational theories to best fit students with their needs. Cori aims to provide a warm, collaborative, and affirming space for all students to encourage self-exploration and movement toward change and growth.
