Christi DeSimone

Prior to joining CU, Christi worked in private practice and school settings. Although a generalist, Christi has extensive training working with individuals with anxiety, depression, identity and relational concerns.

Christi believes that therapy starts with each student coming in as they are. She prioritizes therapeutic relationships and takes a collaborative approach to therapy. With an integrative approach, she draws on psychodynamic, systemic, behavioral and mindfulness-based theories to best fit each student’s needs. Christi aims to provide a warm, empathic, respectful and creative space for each client to explore themselves and their unique story. Together, she will help you find a deeper understanding of yourself and move closer towards your goals.

In her free time, Christi loves spending time with friends and family, going to live music shows with her fiancé, hiking with her dogs, practicing yoga, traveling, experiencing different cultures, interior designing, cooking and exploring new restaurants.
