Mindful Self-Compassion Workshop for Graduate Students | April 6
Mindfulness and self-compassion are basic human capacities that can be cultivated to support well-being and reduce suffering. Most of us feel compassion when a close friend is struggling. With a shift in attention, it is possible to provide the same caring attention to yourself—recognizing that as a human being, you, too, are a worthy recipient of compassion.
This 60-minute workshop is designed to help you understand and practice mindful self-compassion as a tool for navigating the ups and downs of the graduate school career. It is open to all graduate students and would be most impactful for students who have a basic knowledge of mindfulness and are interested in building on their self-care practices.
