An Evening with Ausma Kahn

Ausma Kahn visits CU

The COMM RAP hosted writer Ausma Kahn in the Wittenmeyer Courtroom for a talk about her book series, Muslim representation in media, and using her voice for positive change. Ausma holds a Ph.D. in international human rights law. She is a former adjunt law professor and was editor in chief of Muslim Girl, the first magazine targeted to young Muslim women. She is also a novelist, writing crime novels featuring Muslim characters and based in Canada.
