Meet Areyana Proctor, a CU Boulder student studying Media Production and Journalism in the College of Media, Communication and Information, with a minor in Leadership Studies.
In and out of class, Areyana uses her passion for storytelling to empower and give voice to communities of color and those who are often under-heard or misrepresented. On campus, she’s a student reporter for The Bold, CU’s newest student-run news outlet, and off campus, she works with Mamabird Interviews, a new company that produces legacy interviews for people to preserve their history and memories for their family.
