Phoebe received her B.A. in Art History with a minor in Classical Studies from Elon University in 2021. She has studied Greek, Latin, and German. She has presented her research on symposia imagery from Archaic and Classical Greece at numerous conferences. In 2020 she worked as the Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Intern in Ancient Art at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) Museum.
Currently, she is a Teaching Assistant for the Classics Department. She is also working toward the Graduate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies and the Certificate in College Teaching through the Center for Teaching and Learning. Her current research interests are primarily in visual culture from the Archaic and Classical Greek periods, sociopolitical relationality, identity, queer studies, decolonial/postcolonial theories, embodiment, and methodologies in art history.
