James Chanfrau received a BA in Classical Studies and Anthropology from the University of Washington in June of 2025. He has participated in fieldwork in the Cyclades and is interested in the Late Bronze Age and Early Iron age. His senior essay was "A Comparison of Gender Iconography of Abduction Scenes on Pottery from Early Iron Age and Classical Era Athens".
