Her main research interest are Mycenaean religion and the political and social climate of Bronze Age Laconia.

Autumn has excavated at a variety of sites throughout Texas and for the past few years at the Bronze Age site of Iklaina in Pylos, Greece. This past summer she filled the role of Lab Manager for the excavation.
