Giving Opportunities

The Department of Chemistry is grateful to its faculty, alumni, and friends for their financial support over the years. Our donors help provide support and funding opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students and support critical research and instrumentation needs. Donors may choose from several specific Chemistry gift funds, listed below with their description, or choose to donate to a Chemistry general support fund.

Graduate AwardPatty Feist Teaching Assistant AwardTo provide support for an award to be given to a teaching assistant in the organic chemistry lab
who has shown dedication to teaching.
   
Undergraduate AwardBob and Dickie Lacher Scholarship FundTo provide a scholarship to benefit a sophomore student in the Departments of Chemistry
or Biochemistry.
Undergraduate AwardBob and Pat Meyers Scholarship FundTo provide scholarship support to the Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Undergraduate AwardDaniel L. Touff Memorial Scholarship FundTo provide scholarships to juniors and seniors enrolled in the Departments of Chemistry
or Biochemistry in memory of Daniel L. Touff.
Undergraduate AwardHarold L. Chapel Undergraduate Scholarship FundTo provide scholarships to undergraduate students in the Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry. 
Recipients are graduates from High Schools in Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington,
Weld and Uma Counties in Colorado.
Undergraduate AwardLorraine and Masui Toji Chemistry FundTo provide summer research stipends for undergraduates and/or fund shared research instrumentation,
subject to the discretion of the Chemistry Department's committee on undergraduate research.
Undergraduate AwardTeresa Fonseca Memorial FundTo provide awards for undergraduate students who are chemistry majors enrolled
in the Department of Chemistry.
   
Student ScholarshipConnie B. and Richard J. Sluski Endowed Scholarship FundTo provide undergraduate scholarship awards for students enrolled in the
College or Arts and Sciences and majoring in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
Student ScholarshipHarold Walton Endowed Scholarship FundTo provide support for scholarships in the Department of Chemistry.
Student ScholarshipJoseph Addison Sewall Scholarship FundTo provide scholarships to needy and outstanding students enrolled in the Departments of
Chemistry and Biochemistry in honor of Joseph Addison Sewall.
Student ScholarshipMarian Peebles Fitchette ScholarshipTo provide scholarship support for the Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
