Autonomous Robots

Space Grant at WSCU participates in the Colorado Robotics Challenge.  Students have the opportunity to work together to design and build an autonomous robot that must survive the extreme environment at the Great Sand Dunes National Park!  A challenging and fun endeavor open to students of all disciplines!

High Altitude Balloon Payloads

Work on a team to design, build, test, and launch a payload to 100,000 ft!

Observatory Projects

Depending on access to a research-quality telescope, students may have the opportunity to work with faculty on a pre-determined observatory project.  Past projects have included confirmation of Kepler data and functional testing of the local observatory equipment.
