Please explain why you want to be a member of the Global Engineering RAP at CU Boulder. Please include how you think this community will contribute to your training as an engineer and as a person and how you plan to contribute personally to the residential community: I want to be a member of the Global Engineering Rap because I will be surrounded by other like-minded engineers who also want to work with people internationally. This RAP can teach me how I, a Computer Scientist, can work with others across the globe. I am very passionate about Computer Science because I’ll be able to build tools where the only limit I’ll have is my imagination. This power at my fingertips can be utilized correctly if I am trained on how to ethically use my skills. I am also a concurrent enrollment student. With my knowledge, I can contribute to the residential community by aiding someone with a class I’ve already taken or even if I haven't, the skills I’ve learned could help provide a new perspective. Since this is an engineers residential hall, I could help more neighbors unlike in traditional housing where the chances of me being able to help someone drastically decrease. This RAP will be crucial to my advancement as an engineer who can work with others as a team to solve problems all over the world.
