Please explain why you want to be a member of the Global Engineering RAP at CU Boulder. Please include how you think this community will contribute to your training as an engineer and as a person and how you plan to contribute personally to the residential community: I would love to be a part of Global Engineering RAP at CU Boulder, because I am extremely interested in learning more about and participating in ways to better the world by providing necessities such as food, clean drinking water, shelter, and healthcare to people around the world, but also people in the United States who lack these things as well. I have studied Spanish for five years consecutively from eighth grade until now, during my senior year, and plan to continue studying Spanish, by minoring in it in college. I look forward to volunteering throughout my college career in order to give back to those in the community around me. I would love to be a part of the initiative to create a better world for people across the globe and to be able to be an active participate in those communities while doing so by learning more about the culture and language of those communities and think that this would be a great opportunity to do just that.
