I have traveled almost every summer with my family. I've been to many countries such as Egypt, Britain, Scotland, Italy, UAE. I lived in Houston, Texas, for six years; I've been to the NASA museum and natural science museum and spent many hours admiring the different exhibits. On the way to Scotland, I spent my time touring the country on a road trip and seeing the Stonehenge monument. After, I went on a two-week summer camp experience where I participated in hiking, kayaking, and group work outdoor activities. I visit Egypt almost every summer to see family and friends and spend lots of time on the beach. I went snorkeling in the red sea, called the great pyramids, which was an excellent opportunity to explore the architecture and mechanisms that maintain their majesty.
I would like the person living across from me to be determined, intelligent, funny, and confident. We would have similar interests such as anime, painting, music, and exploring conspiracy. They would have a good sense of humor for difficult times but also know when to be serious and blunt. They would also be aware of boundaries and allow me to have my personal space and privacy when I need it, and I would do the same for them. They would be an animal lover, and we would share photos of our pets with each other. They should also know how to play video games, but they won't be better than me at them.
As an international student, I would be going into a new environment. I feel that this program could help me integrate faster into the community and university life. This program could allow me to gain experience in all the aspects of global engineering, especially sustainability. I come from a country that used to rely mainly on oil production and is becoming less dependent by exploring other more sustainable options by using renewable resources, and I find this very inspiring. This program could help me further this journey of sustainable and green engineering. As for training, I do not have much experience in the engineering field. I feel this is an excellent place to start by communicating with professionals in the area and other students to learn more about global engineering and helping others in their journeys as global engineers. I will treat everyone with respect and courtesy and plan to participate in all the events as well as represent my culture to others in a positive and educational manner
