As a student, I have been fortunate enough to travel to several different countries and experience new cultures. One of my most memorable trips was when I traveled to England and Scotland. I loved exploring the historic landmarks and learning about the rich history of the two countries. From visiting the castles to trying traditional foods, every moment was an adventure.
I also had the opportunity to visit Puerto Rico, which was beautiful, with stunning beaches and vibrant culture. The people were warm and welcoming, and I enjoyed trying new foods and exploring.
In addition to international travel, I have visited many different places within the United States, including California. I loved seeing the natural beauty of the state and experiencing the diversity of the culture. From the beaches to the mountains, there was always something new to discover.
Overall, my travel experiences have been incredible and have taught me so much about the world and different cultures. I believe that travel is one of the best ways to learn and grow as a person, and I can't wait to see where my adventures will take me next.

I would value having a neighbor who embodies the traits of intellectual curiosity, cultural openness, and a sense of adventure. Ideally, I would want someone who is friendly, kind, and enthusiastic about engaging in academic and social activities.
This person would be studious, disciplined, and dedicated to their academic pursuits. They would be focused on their goals and driven to succeed in their coursework, while also being willing to collaborate and help their peers.
In addition to their academic excellence, my ideal neighbor would also be interested in exploring new places, people, and cultures. They would be willing to step out of their comfort zone, take risks, and seek out new experiences. I would appreciate someone who is open-minded, respectful, and willing to learn from others, regardless of their background or beliefs.
Overall, their presence would foster a sense of community, inspire me to push my own boundaries and create an atmosphere of intellectual and personal growth.

As a student who is passionate about engineering and international travel, I am excited about the opportunity to be a member of the Global Engineering RAP at CU Boulder. I believe that this community will contribute significantly to my training as an engineer and as a person, and I am eager to contribute personally to the residential community.
One of the main reasons why I want to be part of the Global Engineering RAP is because I believe in the importance of diversity in engineering. I recognize that engineering problems are complex and require diverse perspectives and ideas to solve them. By living in a community that values and celebrates diversity, I know that I will be exposed to a range of perspectives and ideas that will challenge and broaden my thinking as an engineer.
Moreover, I think that the Global Engineering RAP will contribute to my training as an engineer by exposing me to different cultures and economic standing. Understanding different cultures and economic standing is crucial in engineering because it allows engineers to design solutions that are sustainable and appropriate for different contexts. I am excited to learn from my peers and contribute to the community by sharing my own experiences and perspectives as someone who loves international travel and exploring new places.
I plan to be an active member of the community by participating in activities and events and engaging with my peers. I am looking forward to building meaningful relationships with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and I hope to contribute to the community by sharing my own knowledge and experiences.
