Research interests:

I am broadly interested in how people's social experiences relate to their substance use and other risky behaviors. Particularly, I am curious about how people's cannabis use (and especially among young adults) could relate to or interact with their experiences in social and intimate relationships. I hope more knowledge and understanding of this question could help translate research efforts into more effective interventions and prevention strategies. Another line of research that I wish to pursue in the future is how cannabis use relates to memory. Having personally witnessed my grandmother's experience with Alzheimer's disease, I am looking forward to investigating the potential benefits of cannabis in treating patients with Alzheimer's or other neurodegenerative diseases.

About me:

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, painting, knitting, and going to concerts. When I am not in the lab, you should find me running around the campus looking for dogs to pet!
