Muhammet Ceylan
Post-doctoral Researcher
I completed my PhD in Geotechnical Engineering at Gebze Technical University and worked as a lecturer for three years in the Civil Engineering Department at Istanbul Gelisim University. My work focuses on soil liquefaction, pipeline–soil interaction, pipe testing and numerical modeling using FLAC3D, PLAXIS, and Abaqus. I have experience in laboratory testing, field reconnaissance, and computational analysis for earthquake-related geotechnical problems. I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at CIEST, where I conduct research and contribute to the development of new testing and modeling capabilities to enhance the resilience of infrastructure against natural hazards.
