Mohd is currently pursuing a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA. His research is centered around physical modeling, particularly centrifuge modeling, to study landslide behavior under varying climate change effects. This work is conducted at the Center for Infrastructure, Energy, and Space Testing. Prior to his PhD, he completed his master's degree in geotechnical engineering at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2024. He earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, in 2021.

He is passionate about advancing the understanding of soil-atmosphere interactions, particularly in the context of climate change, and contributing to safer and more resilient infrastructure.
