I started my PhD at the University of Colorado Boulder in January 2025. My research investigates soil rocking mechanisms and the development of earth pressures in soil–structure interaction systems subjected to earthquake loading. My work integrates centrifuge-based physical modeling in the CIEST Lab’s large geotechnical centrifuge and advanced numerical FEM simulations using OpenSees. Prior to joining CU Boulder, I completed my master’s research on optimization-based design of soil nail and prestressed anchor retaining walls. I also gained hands-on experience in concrete materials testing, contributing to a project on developing green concrete.
