Hands-On Masonry Workshop at CIEST

This February, DM Construction and the Rocky Mountain Masonry Institute (RMMI) visited the CIEST lab at CU Boulder to provide a hands-on experience to students in 
CVEN 2545 – Construction Materials. The masons at DM construction provided an engaging demonstration on how to spread mortar, place bricks, and maintain a clean line. Students then teamed up to build their own brick walls in the CIEST loading dock, which gave them hands-on experience in masonry construction. At the end, 6 small brick walls lined up in the CIEST loading dock.
