A look at the Super-8 films of Ann Roy, the relatively unknown Tulsa-born poet and feminist activist, who among other engagements, explored mysticism through the use of hallucinogens in Tepoztlán, Mexico in the 1970's.

Artist Bio

Emilie Upczak is originally from the mountains above Boulder. She is an independent filmmaker, an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Cinema Studies and Moving Image Arts at the University of Colorado Boulder, a Rotterdam Producers Lab alumni and Andy Warhol Foundation grant recipient. Emilie has her MFA in Film from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
