Steamboat Institute Presents: Does AI pose a threat to our democracy?

The Steamboat Institute, in partnership with the Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization, is proud to present a compelling debate on the following resolution: Be it resolved, AI poses a threat to our democracy. A reception will follow immediately following the panel discussion; all attendees are welcome.

Arguing the affirmative is Katie Pavlich, Editor, Townhall.com; Fox News Contributor, and Best-Selling Author. Arguing the negative is Brent Orrell, Senior Fellow, American Enterprise Institute. Moderator is Hadley Heath Manning Vice President for Policy at the Independent Women’s Forum and Tony Blankley Fellow, The Steamboat Institute.

Panelists include Ronald Beiner (Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Toronto), Shilo Brooks (Executive Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions and Lecturer in the Department of Politics, Princeton University), Steven Pittz (Executive Director of the Center for the Study of Government and the Individual and Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs), Michael W. Grenke (senior faculty at St. John's College).

Konstantin Kisin: Importance of Patriorism and Western Self-Belief

Konstantin Kisin is a writer, social commentator, co-host of TRIGGERnometry and comedian. We invite you to listen to him discuss the importance of patriotism and Western self-belief, blending themes from his book and past speeches. A panel moderated by Benson Center Faculty Fellow Matthew Burgess will follow, discussing the topic: What is the role of patriotism in solving society's big problems? Panelists include Konstantin Kisin and Chris Barnard (President of the American Conservation Coalition).
