Scott VanGenderen
Lecturer
Environmental Design

Prior to teaching studio design at Georgetown University and in the environmental design program at the University of Colorado Boulder, Scott spent a career in the design and management of the built environment as an architect, urban designer, planner and project manager. This work included both the private and public sectors, primarily along the Front Range of Colorado.  Scott strongly believes that design must be in service of human and social needs, so design research is an essential component of success. He is a graduate of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
