Scott Reca is a senior in the Environmental Studies and Renewable Energy Certificate programs at the University of Colorado Boulder. Scott is working with the Community Engagement, Design and Research Center (CEDaR) to research green infrastructure implementation in Colorado and the Denver Green Building Ordinance.  He is currently writing an honors thesis regarding the effectiveness of incentive mechanisms for distributed solar energy adoption in different urban settings. He is interested in sustainable and resilient urban development and has ambitions to pursue a graduate program in sustainable architecture. 

Scott believes a coupling of technology, science and creativity is crucial to solving many of the environmental challenges we are facing today. Born and raised in New York, he enjoys writing, reading, playing soccer and guitar, and cooking in his spare time.
