      1. What is the outcome of the event? What’s the purpose?

        1. AM’s work is pretty all-encompassing, do we want her to focus on any one aspect in particular?

        2. Outcomes:

          1. Students at CU are exposed to a culture that they are not as familiar with

      2. What does the event look like?

        1. Demonstration - Def

          1. Potential topics 

            1. Healing Indigenous Trauma

              1. Importance of supporting businesses

              2. The importance of the land, water, and animals

                1. Knowing where things come from and why that is important for people at CU to know 

                2. The importance of sharing these values, as they are useful to everyone

              1. Local, sustainable agriculture

                1. Knowing where things come from

        2. Lots of good ideas that we’ve had, but we need to settle a defined direction in mind so that the work we do over break will be more efficient.

            1. Students could exchange clothes online and pick up at the UMC

              1. Sell the ideal t-shirt

                1. Follows LEED, Fair Trade, Organic, and Recycling standard

                2. Part of the proceeds goes to plant trees…15%?

              2. Creating a fundraiser to promote throughout our fashion show

          2. Try to bring to offer a clothing design minor/certificate to be offered at CU

            1. The Department of Design and Merchandising at CSU offers undergraduate study in two programs - Apparel and Merchandising and Interior Architecture and Design. The Apparel and Merchandising major includes three concentrations:  Apparel Design and Production, Product Development, and Merchandising

              1. Maybe not in the scope of CEB’s mission

          3. Promote and collaboration with

            1. Organic Cotton Producers 

            2. Global Recycling Standard

            3. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)

              1. Review and verify that buildings adhere to strict environmental standards

            4. Fair Trade Factories

              1. Better Wages + Working Environments

          1. Ability to interact with some of the cultural orgs on campus

      2. PC is contacting people based on the list we sent and we will get a better idea of what date works once they get the availability back from artists. 

  2. CISC Women’s Leadership Symposium in collaboration with CAAAS and Athletics

    1. Wed March 1st

      1. Theme: Stories about rest, reach, and new identities.

    2. Their List of Candidates 

      1. Option 1: Nicole Lynn - NFL Sports Agent with Young Money Sports, Softball Agent & Attorney

      2. Option 2: Maia Chaka - The NFL's First Black Female Official

      3. Option 3: A’ja Wilson - Basketball Player for the Las Vegas Aces of the Women's National Basketball Association

    3. Aneesh thoughts:

      1. We do have quite a few spring events already

        1. While this wouldn’t be too much for the board in general, it would add pressure to officers, namely Allie cuz marketing doesn’t get any easier when you collab

        2. They are asking for 5k

      1. CEB’s voice needs to have equal value at the table
