Luke Leiden is a PhD student in Research and Evaluation Methodology at the School of Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychological and Brain Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has prior experience in educational psychology and language education at the Mayer Lab for Research on Learning and Instruction and KKCL English, respectively, as well as additional research experience in the Paul M. Rady Department of Mechanical Engineering at CU Boulder. His research interests encompass psychometrics, quantitative psychology, and educational testing. Specifically, he is interested in the identification and mitigation of bias in quantitative educational and psychological measures, as well as the development of comprehensive student profiles and assessment processes.
