Explore the MCDB Curriculum (BA vs BS)
Bachelor of Science
Beginning Fall 2026, the MCDB major will be offered only as a Bachelor of Science (BS). Students who declared the MCDB major in Spring 2026 or earlier may choose to complete either the BA or BS requirements. Students declaring Fall 2026 or later will complete the BS requirements.
The BS includes additional coursework and science requirements. Students should review the links below and meet with an advisor if they have questions about which option is best for them.
