GED Program
Our GED Program has a new cohort Fall 2026. Are you or a colleague interested in obtaining your GED? We can help!

General Education Development (GED) Preparation Program
BFI Staff Council is partnering with Aims Community College to facilitate staff in our division obtaining their GED's. Our Staff Council and mentor program is having dedicated mentors to guide staff through the process. BFI Staff Council (formerly IROCC, and formerly ISIEC) was awarded a President's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) grant in 2024. The funds are to be used to help prepare I&R staff members to navigate the process of preparing for and earning their State of Colorado high school diploma equivalency (HSE) or GED certificate. Program benefits include:
- A BFI Staff Council GED mentor to help guide you through the GED preparation process
- Technology assistance, if needed
- GED guidebooks and other resources
- Pre-test and GED test fee sponsorships.
