BFI Staff Council Updates

BFI Staff Council is a volunteer team championing engagement, growth, and inclusion within the Business, Finance and Infrastructure (BFI) division. Our committee began as ISIEC (Infrastructure & Sustainability Inclusive Excellence Committee), then rebranded as IROCC (Infrastructure & Resilience Opportunity for Change Committee) when I&S changed to I&R, and now has rebranded to BFI Staff Council as we are incorporating representation and targeted efforts for all of BFI staff now.

The team focuses on three main areas:

  • Development
  • Communications
  • Engagement & Recognition

We have a renewed GED program kicking off in Fall 2026, as well as a relatively new LGBTQ+ subcommittee! Check out our Subcommittees & Projects page to learn more about what we are working on, and contact us to get involved or learn more!
