AI Tools List
The list below is comprised of enterprise-level tools that include AI capability and have been vetted and approved by CU Boulder for faculty, staff and/or students. AI tools and integrations are evaluated by CU Boulder’s Information Technology Accessibility and Security Review Process, also known as the ICT Review Process. Learn more about the review and approval of AI tools. This list is not exhaustive as outside vendors make frequent updates to tools and services. Unless otherwise noted in the table below, all AI tools are only approved for the input of data classified as public. As an affiliate of CU Boulder, you are not allowed to input any other level of data in these tools. Learn more about CU's Data Classification Standard.
ChatGPT at CU Boulder
The University of Colorado System recently announced a system-wide partnership with OpenAI to provide ChatGPT Edu access to all CU faculty, staff and students across all four campuses and the CU System Office. ChatGPT Edu offers a more secure and privacy-aware environment than the public version of the generative AI tool. Learn more on the ChatGPT at CU Boulder page.
