Capt Eric Skrla is the AS400 Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies and Education Officer at Detachment 105, University of Colorado-Boulder, Boulder, CO. Capt Skrla is responsible for the instruction of senior Aerospace Science students and the mentorship of over 300 detachment cadets. 

Capt Skrla initially entered the Air Force in 2013 as an enlisted Wideband Global SATCOM Satellite Vehicle Operator Before receiving his commission from Officer Training School in 2017 and transferring to the Space Force in 2021. Prior to his current assignment, Capt Skrla served as the Intelligence Branch chief for the Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power PEO at LA SFB, the Senior Intelligence Officer and flight commander at the 30th SW, and as a satellite vehicle operator, course designer, and staff instructor at the 50th Space Wing.
