Intra-University Transfer (IUT) dates and deadlines are set by term and college/school/program. The date you complete an IUT Change/Add/Drop Application may impact your tuition and/or graduation timeline.

IUT Change/Add Deadlines

You should submit an IUT Change/Add Application by the IUT Registration Access Deadline, for full IUT Application consideration and the chance to enroll in restricted courses (when available). You are eligible to apply by the IUT Registration Access Deadline, if you meet (or are on track to meet) all IUT Requirements by the end of the current term for your intended college/school/program. You can submit an IUT Change/Add Application through the IUT Final Deadline for the current term, if space is available. IUT Change/Add admission is not guaranteed, and is based on IUT Requirements and space availability.

  • If you meet (or will meet) the IUT Requirements by the end of the Fall term, apply by the October 1st Registration Access Deadline for Spring Admission.
  • If you meet (or will meet) the IUT Requirements by the end of the Spring term, apply by the March 1st Registration Access Deadline for Summer Admission. 
  • If you meet (or will meet) the IUT Requirements by the end of the Summer term (by enrolling in summer coursework), apply by the June 1st Registration Access Deadline for Fall Admission.
    • Please be aware that Fall IUT Admission may not be available for all colleges/schools/programs.

IUT Drop Deadlines

You can submit an IUT Drop Application if you are pursuing degrees in at least two different colleges/schools/programs. The IUT Drop Application is processed until the IUT Final Deadline for the current term. Seniors completing an IUT Drop Application after the IUT Final Deadline for any program they will not complete before graduation, should also meet with their academic advisor.
