On Friday, June 16, the University of Colorado Boulder will host a full-scale emergency preparedness exercise, and there are still many volunteer positions to be filled for both the walk-through and drive-through exercises.

The simulation is part of the statewide Public Health Emergency Dispensing Exercise (PHED Ex) happening the same day and will allow CU Boulder to collaborate with community partners to identify gaps and areas for improvement in the university's emergency planning.

The university is seeking students, staff, faculty and community members to help health care providers practice the medication distribution process. One-hour volunteer shifts are available.

If you do not drive a car to campus but are interested in volunteering for the drive-through exercise, consider looking into the university's carshare options.

Read the April 27 story from CU Boulder Today for more details on the simulated exercise, or visit the event page to sign up now.
