Self-introduction speech

goal: describe yourself to your audience
time: 2-4 minutes
framework: 3-part framework

Use the suggestions in the textbook, Chapter 2, to prepare a 2-4 minute speech of self-introduction. Describe yourself to your audience giving memorable information about you, to distinguish you from other students in the class.

Develop a full-sentence outline (Workbook, p. 1-3) using the 3-part organizational framework presented in Osborn/Osborn, Chapter 8.

Rehearse your speech. Time it. Rework it, if necessary, in order to stay within the allotted time frame of 2-4 minutes.
