Event Details

The 2017 Colorado WASH Symposium will be held March 7-8, 2017 at the new Sustainability, Energy and Environment Complex on CU Boulder's East Campus. The 2017 Speaker List is complete, and features a diverse and experienced group with expertise in the following thematic areas for the 2017 Symposium: 

Emerging Technologies & Approaches: Biochar, ICT management of WASH, innovative and urban fecal sludge management, low tech solutions, and business development in developing countries

Challenging Contexts: Refugees, disasters, conflict, resource limitations, slums/dense populations, coastal, flood-prone areas and implications for climate change

Social Dimensions of WASH: Behavior change, local capacity building, equity & affordability, enabling environments and marginalized populations

Public Health: Institutional WASH delivery programs, disease transmission, health outcomes and community health
